Are your products natural?
Fraiche (prounounced \'fresh\) uses the world’s finest certified organic ingredients, void of harsh chemicals and fillers. The soaps are composed of more goats’ milk and aloe vera than most other soaps on the market — making for a richer, creamier and more moisturizing lather. Fraiche Swizzles are guaranteed to be made with delicate, organic oils and rich minerals soothing to the skin. In many of the soaps, you will also find fruit powder, the base of many anti-aging, alpha-hydroxy products.
You will also never find any added glycerin. Cold-process soap making is a combination of art and science, and is the method used to make Fraiche soaps.
Technically, all hand-made soap is considered “glycerin soap.” That is because when soaps are made by hand, they retain all of the natural glycerin that appears. And, that holds true for Fraiche soaps. The only glycerin found in Fraiche soap is what naturally occurs in the soap-making process, not from what is added as a byproduct to chemically produce a “clear” soap with manufactured moisturizing ingredients.
Fraiche does not use glycerin as a melt-and-pour base for its products, which is the case for many hand-made, as well as commercial “clear” soap available on the market today.
To ensure product stability, essential oils are avoided because they can interact with natural emulsifiers to cause product separation. We have made the choice to avoid essential oils because many of them contain harmful contaminants and skin allergens especially those that are not certified organic. Fragrance oils are our choice because they are created in a regulated industry that promotes product safety. Our Sensitive soap is made with out any fragrance. We try to promote and use the purest ingredients throughout our products. Whenever possible we purchase only Certified Organic ingredients. Some of our ingredients can not be certified organic such as clay, honey, and iron oxides. All colorants are either made from natural minerals or are food safe. It is our goal to provide a pure, luxurious skin care product that makes your friends and family want to ask what is making your skin look so beautiful and smell so wonderful!

How do you ensure product quality?
In addition to using the best ingredients found across the globe, Fraiche makes every new soap and Swizzle formula by hand (and in very small batches) to ensure quality and purity. The company’s handcrafted philosophy starts at the beginning, from personally picking up the goats’ milk from a local farm to individually packaging every product that is shipped to your door.
Do you test on animals?
We do not test our products on animals. We (happily) test them on ourselves. Fraiche guarantees the safety of its products, and any preservatives that may be included are non-toxic and non-irritating, helping to safeguard the quality of the products used on your skin.

Do you consider yourself to be a "green" company?
Fraiche has always been committed to providing high-quality, all-natural products. In an effort to continue our commitment to being environmentally friendly, Fraiche now ships and packages all of its products using recyclable materials.
As a rule, Fraiche always reuses the packing materials from shipments received, but we now use cornstarch packaging peanuts and biodegradable bubble wrap to ship our products. This “green packaging” furthers Fraiche’s goal to provide a superior product, while ensuring its purity.
